Village hour
The park lawn sits between the 1874 station and the village blocks. This is the compact choice for a short walk, a look at the depot exterior, and lunch without moving the car.

Resort half day
Cranmore sits east of Main Street. Winter schedules center on skiing and tubing; summer operations can include the Mountain Adventure Park, scenic chairlift, and bike park.

Begin at the New England Ski Museum when the North Conway branch is open. Its exhibits turn the valley's ski history into a compact indoor stop, and the door is beside Schouler Park rather than on a separate resort campus.
Cross the park for the railroad station exterior and platform, then continue along Main Street for lunch or coffee. This circuit does not require a train ticket, outlet stop, or mountain-road commitment, so it fills a short arrival or departure window.

Whitaker Woods
Whitaker Homesite provides town-managed woodland access close to North Conway. Walking there keeps the outing local when a full West Side Road or notch excursion would consume too much of the day.
Snow changes the use of the property: Mount Washington Valley Ski Touring publishes cross-country trail information for Whitaker Woods. Use the town facility listing and ski-touring report rather than assuming summer paths have the same winter access.
Cranmore half day
Cranmore is close to Main Street, but its activities follow the resort calendar. Skiing and tubing define winter visits; scheduled summer operations may include the Mountain Adventure Park, scenic chairlift, and bike park.
Treat Cranmore as a half day when the group wants organized activities, food, and restrooms in one place. A museum-and-park circuit is the smaller commitment when resort tickets or operating hours do not fit.
